Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) informed consent and voluntary participation 2) aged 60-85 years 3) patients undergoing general anesthesia for spine surgery 4) ASA PS 1-3

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) psychologic disorder (schizophrenia, epilepsy, parkin's disease, dementia) 2) MMSE score <20 3) severe bradycardia 4) severe hepatic dysfunction 5) severe renal dysfunction 6) recent stroke within 6 months 7) alcohol or drug dependency 8) difficulty of communication 9) ASA PS 4 or more
