Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: A. Patients with a diagnosis of asthma in electronic health records from 1994 to February 2022 B. Patients 18 years of age or older C. Patients taking a medium-high dose inhaled corticosteroid-long-acting beta-agonist (ICS-LABA) that corresponds to step 4/5 of the GINA guidelines D. Patients who have experienced 2 or more asthma exacerbations

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: A. Patients under the age of 18 B. Past history of significant diseases that may affect the clinical outcome of asthma (autoimmune disease, malignant tumor disease, chronic infectious disease) C. Patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) D. Patients who were diagnosed with asthma but not received any asthma medication
