Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who were prescribed entecavir as an initial treatment for chronic hepatitis B between January 2011 and January 2014 Patients who were prescribed tenofovir as an initial treatment for chronic hepatitis B between December 2012 and December 2015

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who could not be followed up within 1 year after administration of entecavir or tenofovir Patients diagnosed with liver cancer before and within 1 year after administration of entecavir or tenofovir Patients diagnosed with other types of malignancies during the 5 years prior to administration of entecavir or tenofovir Patients co-infected with HCV or HIV
