Procedure/Surgery : Group 1 : Implant placement(=4 months after tooth extraction/alveolar ridge preservation) following alveolar ridge preservation for periodontally damaged extraction socket Group 2

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients aged over 20 2. patients requiring molar extraction 3. extraction sockets presenting > 50% of socket wall loss at least in one socket wall (in radiographic and clinical examination)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Untreated periodontal disease 2. Uncontrolled systemic diseases 3. Patients undergoing head and neck radiation 4. Patients with systemic conditions and receiving medications affecting soft and hard tissue healing 5. Patients with alcoholism and drug addiction 6. Heavy smoking habit (= 10 cigarettes per day) 7. Pregnant patients
