Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: elderly cohort data provided by the National Health Insurance Service (subjects aged 60 and over among those who maintained qualifications in 2002) from 2002 to 2015

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Those who had already been diagnosed with HZ before 2002 or who died during the follow-up period
