Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Eligible patients are 20-70 years old with a diagnosis of clinically stable AD. Diagnosis of AD is performed by a board-certified dermatologist using Hanifin and Rajka’s criteria. Patients are required to have Eczema Area and Severity Index (EASI) scores of = 7 (mild) or 7-21 (moderate).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Active states of other dermatitis or eczematous conditions, skin infection requiring oral or topical antimicrobial therapy, or previous treatment with oral or topical corticosteroids or immunosuppressants within the past four weeks.
