Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The subjects of this study were patients 18 years of age or older who visited the emergency room with respiratory symptoms (shortness of breath, cough, sputum, hypoxia, tachypnea, chest discomfort) that may require isolation due to confirmed or suspected COVID-19 infection.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Semi-emergency (Grade 4) and non-emergency (Grade 5) patients based on the Korean Emergency Patient Severity Classification Tool (KTAS) and patients who came to the hospital for acute cardiac arrest outside the hospital were excluded from the study. In addition, patients who do not agree to participate in the study, patients who are unconscious or unable to obtain research consent due to lack of a legal representative, patients who have canceled admission to the emergency room or who have been discharged without separate examination and treatment after a doctor meeting and examination are excluded from the study.
