A prospective study with two purposes: (1) developing assessment tools and rehabilitation exercise programs which contribute to improving the physical, psychological, and social health of the disabled (including people who will be registered as the disabled within a few months) in South Korea and their return to the society, and (2) creating a guidebook to facilitate an application of the development guidance of rehabilitation exercise program and assessment tools.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: External physical disorder: Stroke and Physical disability. - People diagnosed with a stroke, including those who will be diagnosed with a stroke at the timing of six months post-onset (age, = 20). - People diagnosed with a physical disability caused by a spinal cord injury (age, = 20). Internal physical disorder: Visual impairment and Renal failure - People diagnosed with a visual impairment (age, = 20). - People diagnosed with renal failure and also having treatments either hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis (age, = 20). Mental disorder: Developmental disability in preadolescent and adolescent periods - Elementary and middle school students registered with an intellectual disability or an autism disorder.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants will be excluded (1) if they have had a significant change in their health during the last three months, (2) if they had a surgery influencing a gait (i.e., Hip joint fracture surgery, Arthroplasty, and Spine surgery) during the last year, (3) if they have a difficulty to communicate as they have a language disorder or an uncorrectable hearing disorder, (4) if they are suspected as having an impairment in their cardiovascular function such as a cardiac failure having a symptom in the activity at which intensity is below a daily activity (New York Heart Association Class III or IV), (5) if they have diagnosed with malign cancer which needs to be treated, (6) if they have an acute or an unstable chronic disease, (7) if they have a history of alcohol- or drug-abusing, (8) if they cannot understand the purpose of the study or perform requirements of the study, and (9) if researchers consider their condition not eligible for participating in the study.
