Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria - Participants were eligible for inclusion if all of the following criteria were met: 1. Adults aged =18 and <80 years. 2. Documented history of SARS-CoV-2 infection confirmed by PCR or antigen testing at least 3 months prior to enrollment, or no prior history of SARS-CoV-2 infection (control group).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria Participants were excluded if any of the following criteria were present: 1. History of cognitive complaints or cognitive impairment prior to SARS-CoV-2 infection. 2. Acute illnesses within the past 2 months, including but not limited to myocardial infarction, unstable angina, pneumonia, or other acute infectious diseases. 3. Active malignancy. 4. Autoimmune diseases requiring immunosuppressive therapy. 5. Neurodegenerative disorders, including but not limited to Alzheimer’s disease or Parkinson’s disease. 6. Major psychiatric disorders.
