Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: American Society of Anesthesiologist (ASA) physical status of 1 to 3 who were scheduled for elective urologic surgery under SA, with an estimated operation lasting 60 minutes.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: uncontrolled obstructive lung disease, diagnosed cerebrovascular disease, medication affecting the central nervous system, history of allergic reaction to DEX or heavy bupivacaine and contraindications of SA.
