Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: -Pre-hypertensive adult females and males (systolic blood pressure = 130mmHg or diastolic blood pressure = 85mmHg) -Hypertensive adult females and males with or without hypertensive medication

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: -Patients have previously received any acupoint-stimulation therapy including acupuncture and moxibustion in the last 6 months -Patients taking psychological medications
