Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients diagnosed with cardiovascular disease (myocardial infarction, unstable angina, heart failure, and valvular heart disease) who received acute management including medication, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) or heart valve surgery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria included patients with contraindications of cardiopulmonary exercise test or unable to exercise on the treadmill due to physical problems (ie, stroke, spinal cord injury, musculoskeletal diseases, or dyspnea).
