Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who presented with swelling and pain (VAS>4) in the hand Patients with degenerative arthritis of the hand confirmed by radiographs Postmenopausal women aged over 40 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with pain score (VAS) of less than 4 for osteoarthritis of the hand Patients with a diagnosis of traumatic arthritis Patients with a diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis, Patients with a diagnosis of gouty arthritis Patients with other orthopedic diseases such as rotator cuff tear, frozen shoulder, trauma, tenosynovitis, capal tunnel syndrome, or peripheral neuritis Patients taking NSAIDs for more than 1 month Patients who have difficulty communicating due to intellectual impairment
