Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 62 frail elderly persons who agree with the purpose and intent of this study, are able to communicate, and meet the thresholds for three or more of the CHS Frailty criteria that serve as the indicators of frailty (weight loss, emotional exhaustion, physical activity, gait speed, and grip strength).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: If any medical risks are discovered in a subject prior to exercise per the Canadian Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q), the doctor’s medical judgment determines whether the subject will be included for the senior fitness test.
