Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients who visited medical institution with the ICD codes M100 and M109 from 2011 to 2013, took gout treatment-related drugs, and visited medical institutions twice or more with the above diagnosis code for 4 weeks or more.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who registered diagnosis code of F01~F03, G30, G31.00~04, G31.82, G12.20-G12.28 from 2007 to 2010.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The incidence of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), frontotemporal dementia, and lewy body dementia.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The incidence of motor neuron diseases and total dementia
