Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: If any of the 10 question factors showed a positive response, it was sufficient to confirm TMD, and the severity of symptoms was determined by the number of positive responses.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria were as follows: 1) patients with post-traumatic stress disorder; 2) patients with neurological diseases; 3) patients who have undergone artificial surgery on the jaw or neck; 4) patients who use analgesics and anti-inflammatory drugs.
