Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Participants were HBV patients in whom HBgAg had been detected at least six months earlier and diagnosed with Hepatitis B at least three months earlier. Participant eligibility included those aged >40 who had not developed liver cirrhosis or cancer and had taken an antiviral medication.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria included being pregnant, the presence of mental diseases, and other comorbidities.
