Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: ? Patients were eligible if aged between 20 and 70 years ? Patients confirmed presenting H. pylori infection within one year and did not treat H. pylori eradication (include H. pylori-induced gastritis regardless of gastric ulcer) ? Patients received comprehensive information regarding the study, with informed consent obtained before the initiation of any study-related processes
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: ? Patients who used less than two weeks before the screening visit following as i. PPIs and H2-receptor antagonist ii. Antibiotics including clarithromycin, amoxicillin, metronidazole, and tetracycline iii. Bismuth compound, mucosal protects iv. Corticosteroid v. Food product relating to gastric function ? Patients who used drugs metabolized by CYP450 becuase cimetidine strongly suppress and increases concentration of drug in serum i. Warfarin ii. Diazepam iii. Propranolol iv. Erythromycin ? a previous gastric malignancy ? Previous gastric operation ? Comorbidity i. Dialysis ii. Diet with restrictive potassium iii. Uncontrolled nephropathy or hepatic disease ? Alalarming signs (e.g., abnormal weight loss, hematochezia, anemia, or significant bowel habit changes) ? pregnant, planning to pregnancy or breastfeeding ? drug users or alcoholics ? Inappropriate candidate according to researchers' judgement
