Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Adult patients above 19 years of age who need peripheral intravenous catheter insertion 2) Patients who have been hospitalized in the relevant research ward after starting data collection 3) Patients who maintain the first inserted peripheral intravenous catheter for more than 96 hours (72 -120 hours depending on insertion and removal time)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients with systemic problems (bloodstream infection, immunosuppressant treatment, inflammatory disease, skin disease) 2) Patients who received catheterisation in places other than the hospital ward (emergency room, intensive care unit, etc.) 3) Patients who inserted the central line
