Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Late subacute or chronic stroke (=3 months post-onset) (2) unilateral ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke (3) hemi-paresis

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Neurological disorder other than stroke (2) Receiving botulinum toxin on the impaired arm within 3 months (3) Cognitive dysfunction that precludes comprehension of experimental tasks and the provision of written informed consent (score lower than 18 on the Korean version of Mini-Mental Status Examination) (4) Severe spasticity (Modified Ashworth <4) (5) Sign of severe concurrent medical problems (including shoulder pain) sufficient to preclude repetitive reaching to targets (verbally asked during pre-screening)
