Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients aged 19-70 years, who underwent parotid surgery for benign tumours diagnosed through contrast enhanced CT and ultrasonography guided core needle biopsy from May 2018 to June 2019 in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Chungnam National University Hospital,

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with a history of head and neck radiation therapy, salivary gland surgery, chronic sialadenitis, Sjogren's syndrome; those under 18 years of age; or pregnant women were excluded from this study
