Others(Wearing eye mask) : A total of 68 patients were divided into an eye mask-wearing group and an eye mask-free group, and midazolam was administered and the degree of sedation was compared.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: American society of anesthesiologists physical status (ASA PS) 1 or 2. A patient who is 18-80 years of age for surgery with a planned spinal anesthesia, who can read the consent form and give written consent at the voluntary decision

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status (ASA PS) = 3 pregnancy sleep disorders such as sleep apnea intellectual disability any contraindication to spinal anesthesia patients who refused to take sedatives or wear an eye mask
