Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Subjects were included if they 1) did not have an abnormality in olfactory function 2) could communicate 3) did not have allergic reaction to the essential oil selected in this study 4) did not receive drug treatment or hormone therapy or essential oil therapy for a psychiatric disorder 5) were adults over 20 years old 6) were patients with stage III or higher solid cancer
