Interventions

Procedure/Surgery : In group 1, 8 ml of 0.33% lidocaine was injected into the epidural space, and in group 2, 8 ml of 0.33% lidocaine and 4 mg of dexamethasone were mixed into the epidural space.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients diagnosed with intervertebral disc herniation and undergoing transforaminal epidural steroid injection.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: history of procedure within 4 weeks, taking oral steroids, cognitive dysfunction, patients taking anticoagulants, and patients and their guardians disagree with the study
