Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) being diagnosed of stroke through neurological examination and CT or MRI scans for the first time (2) inpatients within 3 months from the onset of diagnosis of stroke; (3) without upper-limb function impairments before this illness of stroke; (4) being aged 21 or over (5) Mini Mental State Examination score of 20 or more; (6) signed the consent form before the study start.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) medically unstable such as severe liver and kidney malfunction, cardiopulmonary insufficiency (2) parietal lobe lesion (3) severe cognitive impairment, history of mental illness (4) a history of epileptic seizures in the last 1 months or taking antiepileptic drugs recently (5) pregnant (6) severe visual and hearing impairment (7) pacemaker, internal electrode, metal implants in vivo, and skull defects
