Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - The diagnosis for excess sebum on the face (defined as > 150 µg/cm2 on the forehead) was based on the criteria scale of sebum content for oily skin by SM815 sebumeter (Courage + Khazaka Electronic GmbH, Cologne, 1986). - Acne IGA grade ranged from 2 to less than 4 on the face (mild to moderate acnes)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Acne treatment of any kind including artificial ultraviolet (UV) therapy in the previous 2 months - Other skin disease or systemic illnesses - Use of medication that could interfere with acne at any stage of enrollment in the study.
