Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age =18 years and = 85 years 2. Suffered from one or more epileptic seizures (detected clinically and/ or by EEG) 3. Expected ICU stay > 48 hours

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Recent ACTH deficiency (pituitary surgery, pituitary stalk trauma) 2. Brain death or imminent death (within 24 hours) 3. Pregnancy or Nephrotic syndrome diagnosed patient 4. DNR (do not resuscitate) orders
