Procedure/Surgery : The protocol of this prospective study was approved by the Institutional Review Board of Chungnam National University Hospital (CNUH 2020-05-070-001).
After obtaining sufficient

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: patients (aged 20–70 years with American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status I or II) scheduled for elective forearm surgery at Chungnam National University Hospital (Daejeon, Republic of Korea), with all patients providing written informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients were excluded if they were refusal of brachial plexus block, had known allergy to amide local anesthetic drug, neuropathy involving the arm undergoing surgery, experienced neck surgery.
