Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The inclusion criteria for patients (i) patients with type 2 diabetes who were 30 years of age or older (ii) baseline baPWV measured

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (i) type 1 diabetes mellitus; (ii) an ankle brachial index (ABI) of <0.9 (iii) severe symptoms and/or signs of Cardiovascular disease (iv) hospitalization within the previous three months due to acute myocardial infarction, stroke, or heart failure; (v) chronic kidney disease (serum creatinine levels >2.0 mg/dL)
