Interventions

Drug : Experimental group: Denosumab injection was conducted within 48 hours post-operatively. Control group: Denosumab injection was conducted 3 months after the operation.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: After approving Institutional Review Board, all women older than fifty years of age with a distal radial fracture treated with volar locking plating were recruited. Among them, those who had a T-score of <-2.5 were finally included.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients who refused to treated with denoxumab (2) Patients who require bone graft or bone substitute due to open fractures or severe communited fractures (3) Patients who underwent surgery after 2 weeks (4) People with disabilities in bone metabolism (5) Patientswho underwent operation with additional fixation method other than volar plating

Radiologic parameters and clinical outcome based on the Disabilities of the Arm, Shoulder and Hand Score, the Patient-Rated Wrist Evaluation, Range of motion and Grip strength
