Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: preoperative astigmatism of 4.0 D or more, a stable refraction for at least 1 year, and no preoperative topographic sign of keratoconus, corrected distance visual acuity of 20/25 or better, absence of ocular disease.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: preoperative corneal thickness of 500 µm or less, preoperative astigmatism of 4.0 D or less, presence of systemic disease
