Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) 18 years of age and older (2) conventional endoscopic stone extraction method including mechanical lithotripsy failed or expected to fail

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Acute pancreatitis (2) Septic shock (3) Suspected or confirmed malignancy (4) Coagulopathy (international normalized ratio of >1.3, partial thromboplastin time greater than twice that of control) (5) Platelet count of < 50,000 /ul (6) Pregnancy.
