Interventions

Behavioral : The combined exercise program will consist of aerobic exercise and resistance training for 12 weeks. All exercise sessions will be supervised by exercise physiologists and endocrinologist
of the maximal single-repetition resistance. Resistance will be increased slowly if the participant could perform 20 repetitions without failure. To increase resistance within the recommended stretch

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Type 2 diabetes mellitus Postmenopausal women

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) active infection within the past month (2) a recent history of acute myocardial infarction, stroke, trauma, or surgery (3) neoplastic disorder (4) occlusive peripheral vascular disease (5) severe liver dysfunction (6) taking antidepressants or neurotrophic drugs (7) Alzheimer’s disease
