Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who meet all of the following criteria ? Patients over 18 years of age ? Patients with Identified or developed hypotension after visiting the emergency room (SBP <90 mmHg or Mean arterial pressure < 70mmHg + Heart rate > 100 rates/min) and Patients who require a vasopressor to maintain mean arterial pressure above 65 mmHg despite sufficient fluid (>2000ml or 30mL/kg within 3hr or 300~500ml over 20-30min)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria ? DNR (do not resuscitation) state patients. ? Trauma patients . ? The patients diagnosed with Carotid artery stenosis or If more than 50%(Peak Systolic velocity >150 cm/ second + post stenotic turbulence) of carotid artery stenosis is observed on carotid ultrasound or carotid thrombose are observed. ? Not agree to participate in the study voluntarily ? Out hospital cardiac arrest patients ? Even after the vasopressor administration and the active treatment for resuscitation, If follow up ultrasound was not performed due to the rapid deterioration of the vital signs such as near cardiac arrest condition(MAP between 30 and 50 mmHg with a pulsatile waveform). ? Patients who have used or have been using a vasopressor within 24 hours.
