Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients with gastric cancer undergoing curative gastrectomy at St. Vincent's Hospital The Catholic University of Korea bwtween January 2006 and December 2013 were included in this study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: having had an exploration laparotomy, staging laparoscopy, having had a nonstandard gastrectomy, palliative bypass surgery
