Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients who were diagnosed with acute appendicitis without perforation on abdominal CT prior to surgery and who were agreed with laparoscopic appendectomy from 19 to 70 years of age
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. History of previous abdominal surgery 2. Pregnant women 3. Open conversion 4. Additional surgery other than laparoscopic appendectomy 5. Surgical findings of perforation or periappendiceal abscess 6. If the appendiceal base is thick or inflammation is severe and it is difficult to apply a polymeric clip 7. Final histologic examination revealed non-appendicitis
