Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: elective surgery, American society of anesthesiology physical classification 1-2 (physically normal or mild disease does not affect systemic function) preschool aged 36-60 monthschildren undergoing tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: A patient who cannot measure with an tympanic membrane temperature, or who cannot attach a thermometer to the armpit or forehead.
