Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients with small colorectal polyps detected during elective colonoscopy (screening, surveillance, or diagnostic)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) patients under 20 or over 80-years-old (2) patients taking antiplatelet or anticoagulant therapy during the past 1 week of the procedure, (3) known coagulopathy (4) patients with bleeding diathesis (5) history of inflammatory bowel diseases (6) pregnancy or lactating women (7) American Society of Anesthesiology class IV or more (8) patients who are not suitable for the study
