Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: all patients aged = 18 yr who underwent shoulder arthrotomy in the beach chair position at Samsung Medcial Center during a 8-year period (January 1, 2011–December 31, 2018)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: : patients with an artifical pacemaker (maintaining an pre-defined heart rate when natural heart rate decines) : patients who underwent concurrent surgeries other than shoulder arthrotomy

Primary

MeasureTime frame
hypotensive bradycardic events with a requirement of pharmacological interventions such as atropine/glycopyrrolate or ephedrine .

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
neurological complication during hospitalization;minimum heart rate and systolic blood pressure were recorded during each hypotensive bradycardic events
