Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients with the "endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography " procedures with intention to access into the common bile duct on naïve papilla, and informed content

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) previous history of endoscopic sphincterotomy 2) pregnant patients 3) Aged less than 18 years 4) underlying chronic pancreatitis 5) main pancreatic duct dilation of more than 5 mm 6) uncontrolled coagulopathy (i.e., international normalized ratio of >1.5 or platelet count of <50,000/mm3), 7) medically unstable cardiopulmonary disability for conscious sedation.
