Interventions

Drug : Dexmedetomidine: loading dose of 1.0 mcg/kg for 10 minutes, and then continuous infusion with a syringe pump at a rate of 0.2-0.7 mcg/kg/h until the start of the suture. 0.9&#37
saline: the same dose and same rate as dexmedetomidine is injected until the start of the suture.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age=19 or >19 years old Patients undergoing pituitary tumor resection American Society of Anesthesiologist physical status I,II, III

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: American Society of Anesthesiologist physical status IV, V Age under 18 years old Age over 70 years old Pregnency unstable coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, cardiomyopathy Cerebral disease Patient refusal Allergy to study drug Psychyatric disease Complete AV block, mild conduction delay, severe sinus bradycardia severe liver disease, severe renal insufficiency
