Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) patients diagnosed with posterior semicircular canal benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) or lateral canal BPPV. (2) Patients with a serum vitamin D (25-OH vitamin D) level below 20ng/ml (3) Patients who underwent appropriate repositioning maneuver for each subtype of BPPV and and were confirmed as complete resolution 1 week after initial diagnosis.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with a history of vestibular neuritis, labyrinthitis, Meniere's disease, ear surgery, inner ear disease, head trauma (2) Patients who have BPPV with involvement of anterior or multiple semicircular canal. (3) patients with a 25-OH vitamin D level above 20 ng/ml (4) Patients who had previously supplemented vitamin D.(injection or orally intake)
