Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients diagnosed with de Quervain’s disease having an complete intracompartment septum between the APL and the EPB tendons. The diagnosis of the de Quervain’s disease was based on on a history and examination and was confirmed by a experienced radiologist using US.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria were a history of previous steroid injection, a rheumatoid arthritis, fracture of the wrist and operation on the ipsilateral side. Pregnanat women and patients under 18 years old were also excluded.
