Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: -more than 50 years old, no sex preference -carotid stenosis more than 70% -underwent carotid endarterectomy -evaluated with pre and post-operative Computed Tomography scan -constructed carotid phantoms from Computed Tomography scan images -measured Magnetic Resonance Velocity successfully -followed-up for survival, stenosis, obstruction

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: -preoperative carotid complete total occlusion or closed against postoperative carotid overflow -postoperative severe complication and/or death -no data of Computed Tomography scan or clinical information pre and/or post-operatively -failed carotid phantom reconstruction -failed Magnetic Resonance Velocity measurement -follow-up loss
