Behavioral : Arm 1 (Intervention group) Timeline followback (TLFB) method was used to assess the amount of alcohol the participants drank within the past week (Sobell et al., 1996). The 10-item AUDIT-
Rollnick et al., 1992). After assessing the participants’ self-efficacy to control their desire to drink in certain situations using the Drinking Refusal Self-Efficacy Questionnaire (DRSEQ

Tak et al., 2008), personalized and comprehensive results were provided based on their responses. These included severity of problematic drinking based on amount of alcohol consumption, drinking frequ

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 20–40 years living in South Korea who drank alcohol within the past month, had an the Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test-Consumption (AUDIT-C) score of 4 or higher for men and 3 or higher for women, were fluent in Korean, and consented to participate in this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Iindividuals who could not participate in the intervention and follow-up assessment through the Internet, or those who were currently being treated for alcoholism or who had been in the past.
