Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: healthy adult participants, who judged themselves to have no problems with taste.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: smokers and people with diabetes. A subject had a history of neurological disorders or middle-ear surgery or oral lesions such as ulcers, or had received dental treatment within the previous 48 hours.
