Procedure/Surgery : All surgical procedures were performed by a single surgeon (K.S.H.). Surgery was performed under general anesthesia with no additional nerve block. All patients underwent all-arthr

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) full thickness rotator cuff tear verified by preoperative MRI and confirmed at time of surgery, and complete repair was possible arthroscopically

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. previous ipsilateral shoulder surgery 2. incomplete repair 3. rheumatoid arthritis 4. Parkinsonism or Alzheimer’s disease 5. refusal to participate 6. the need for an additional procedure, such as, acromioplasty or SLAP repair.
