Drug : The ETT cuffs in each group were sprayed with benzydamine hydrochloride, 10&#37

lidocaine hydrochloride, or normal saline prior to endotracheal intubation.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult patients who underwent total thyroidectomy in the Samsung medical center ASA classification I, II, III

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ASA classifcation over IV Obesity (BMI>30) Long term opioid therapy Pregnancy Allergy to local anesthetics, ASA, NSAID(Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug)s Cardiovascular disease (arrhythmia, heart failure, myocardial infarction) Severe liver diseases, renal diseases Hoarseness Medication history of Calcium channel blocker
