Behavioral : Because most participants in the current study were not familiar with using computers, the therapists introduced the basic skills (e.g., using a mouse) of computer usage at the initial se
intrinsic motivation towards the CR (56, 57). All CR sessions were reviewed by K. H. Choi in a weekly supervision meeting or in vivo training sessions to confirm the consistency of the CR protocol.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The diagnoses of the 57 inpatients with schizophrenia (32 males and 25 females) were confirmed by the Structured Clinical Interview for Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Menal Disorders-Fourth Edition (DSM-IV) Axis I disorders. All patients had been on stable medication regimens for the previous 30 days.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants were excluded if they had any of the following: substance use, serious traumatic brain injury or other neurological disorder, or acute psychiatric symptoms.
