Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: To be eligible for inclusion, stroke diagnosed by a specialist through magnetic resonance imaging, more than 1 weeks after the onset of an ischemic or hemorrhagic cerebrovascular event, no visual and auditory problems, a mini-mental state examination score of greater than 24, a modified ashworth scale score of = 2 in any joint, a manual muscle test grade of = fair in the lower limbs.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients were excluded if they exhibited any red flags (eg, tumor, fracture, cancer), prior surgery to the cervical or thoracic spine, other causes of poor balance (eg, spinal cord pathology, cerebellar ataxia, parkinson disease).
